If anyone is out there, I need to know what I need to do to put an
application that uses MS Soap 3.0 onto a different machine.

Do I need to do something to the app or put something extra on the
target - or maybe both??

You'll need to install the MS Soap 3.0 redistributable both on the clients
and the server. On the server you have to configure IIS to allow wdsl
extension and the SOAP ISAPI, and be careful to the bitness: on 64 bit
servers you must allow 32 bit executables.

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

I was not successful at loading the SOAP redistributable, which I had
found before the original post. What worked in this case was simply
installing the vfp SOAP toolkit on the machine. I didn't see anything
to imply that was against the rules.

The SOAP toolkit includes the redistributable, you should be OK then.
