Hi

I get an error 6017 when trying to build my app
I have downloaded a copy of isregspy.exe and tried to register it as they
recommend but there is no indication is has registered (or not) and I still
get the error - there doesn't seem to be much help forthcoming from flexera

Has anyone one else had & resolved this problem?

Thanks
John

Hi Dan

Yes I ran the register command as administrator by opening a command window
as administrator and entering the command
"C:\Program Files\InstallShield\Express 5.0 Visual
FoxPro\System\isregspy.exe" /REGSERVER

The was no confirmation or problem notification so I don't know if it did
anything at all

- but the problem persists

Cheers
John

Did you run the *application* as Admin?

Remember, ISE (and VFP9) pre-date both Win7 and Vista and all of the
security thereby applied.

Thanks Dan - I did get a bit further running iside.exe as administrator but
now I have
the error message.

"ISRegSpy detects following module 'C:\Windows\ system32\apphelp.dll'
hooked into this process, which will cause ISRegspy to malfunction .
You need to shut the application down and restart COM extraction"

I am guessing that this just won't run under vista or win 7

Cheers
