Anyone know of a good source for FoxPro images such as the fox head on
the VFP splash screen?

Thanks, but, been there, done that, but my strings came up with nothing
really usable... almost everthing I found related directly to the
program was icon sized.

if you Google "FOX"
you will find a lot of pretty pictures of this lovely animal.

<snigger>

And possibly some pretty pictures of lovely animals that you were
not expecting. From dictionary.reference.com for fox:
Slang. an attractive young woman or young man.

Hi,

most icon editor can extract icons from an exe or dll.
Some resource grabbers can do, too.

Pls respect the copyright of each icon... you might want to use.

Of course...

What I was looking for was a suitable image for the FoxPro google page I
just setup, for example, the fox on the splash screen when VFP starts.

That need may, however, be moot, as my reading of alternate forum option
responses seems to portend that what's now here will splinter when ms
pulls the plug.

Considering that "what's here" is the smallest fraction of the existing
community it's probably best to let it be subsumed into one of the
larger well-established efforts. ::shrug::

Thanks... nice.

Again, it's probably moot since there seems to be little interest in the
group I set up for post nntp.

My quest has boiled down to just a large copy of just the yellow fox head.

What I will probably do is see if I can capture it from the splash
screen... anyone know how to keep the splash screen open for a few
seconds in order to capture it?

There used to be a sys() function to display the splash screen but they
disabled it years ago. (Probably because people were trying to capture
it. <g>)

Use your PrintScreen button, but be quick about it. <<
Either I'm not as quick as you are ...or, I'm running a faster or
cleaner system ;-)
I tried several times, but just ended up with the foxpro desktop.
Probably a quicker system - mine's been running a bit slow. One of
the vacuum tubes is loose in its socket, and the hamster is a geriatric.
