I'm unable to run FPW 2.6a on my Windows 7 64bit Ultimate machine. Am
considering upgrading one of my XP machines to Windows 7 and wonder if
the 32 bit version will support FPW. Thanks for your reply.

Yup. Windows 8 x86 (32 bit) will run 16 bit Windows apps. Actually its Command Prompt would still support 16 bit DOS apps as it is in Windows XP x86. But, in case your machine has memory more than 4GB, it would be a waste to use 32 bit apps. You'd be better off with Virtual machine running Windows XP x86 with Windows 8 x64 as the host. Oracle Virtualbox (http://www.virtualbox.org) is a free solution for vm. I have used it for years with no compatibility problem.
